Helping the V Foundation remind us to laugh, think and cry every day with an identity refresh.

Jim Valvano and ESPN have created one of the most successful philanthropies in the world. Jim’s story has inspired a generation of sports fans and cancer fighters to “never give up.” To keep up with other modern charities the V-Foundation needed a fresh logo and improved web experience to share Jim’s legacy while making it easy for supporters to donate.

What I ︎ about this.

It has been said in my career that we aren’t saving lives, it’s just advertising. But in this case I was honored to be able to use my experience in design and advertising to help create something that truly will save lives. Jim’s story is incredibly powerful and it was a privilege to help create something that shares it with more and more people.
