Michelina’s Grande


	To launch their biggest, tastiest and most affordable new frozen meals ever, Michelina’s found a family of&#38;nbsp;believers to turn their value prop into a full-blown conspiracy.
	Every company wants to say their product is a great value. Michelina’s is no exception, as they required this campaign to communicate the new size, great taste and low price. Sure. But wouldn’t it be more fun if we found a group of people who believe in everything from big foot to aliens but draw the line at believing this new meal is the great value it claims? Better yet, what if they challenged others to defrost the lies of this “Big Frozen” conspiracy and warned others to trust their gut when it comes to Michelina’s Grande.


The Foil Family. 

From aliens to big foot and the well-known fact that the entire continent of Austraila is a lie. The Foil Family is willing to believe just about anything. Except, when it comes to “Big Frozen’s” new Michelina’s Grande meals. They claim this new larger microwavable meal to be big, tasty and affordable...all at the same time. The Foil Family simply refuses to believe a frozen meal can be all three things at once. However, they admit that it does looks tasty.&#38;nbsp;

What I ︎ about this.What’s not to love about a good conspiracy? What started as a frusteratingly straight forward value proposition was turned into a visual feast and imaginative playground for us to invent, mashup and build on all the fun curiousities we have had since we were children. This project is PROOF that ideas can turn hard-working marketing messages into entertaining and engaging experiences.&#38;nbsp;

What I ︎ about this.Accounting software wasn’t high on my list of dream brands. However, building a brand over time with clients I call friends, learning to admire a target audience I never knew existed, and collaborating with production partners to push beyond what most thought possible has been a truly rewarding experience.

	An exclusive candy product only Trolli and Wade Wilson could concieve of to promote the launch of Deadpool 2.

	Trolli and FOX Studios worked together to create a new sour gummi that not only tied into “Deadpool 2’s” storyline, but also perfectly expanded Trolli’s Weirdly Awesome universe. The Tiny Hands campaign provided firm package support — from influencer strategies to revealing Deadpool's package live in Times Square to 4th-wall breaking metadata messages from Deadpool himself.

What I ︎ about this.Working with a major film star and a candy company has a lot to like. But I’m most proud of sitting across the table from the team representing Fox Studios and telling them if we were to do a product it couldn’t just be Deadpool’s face on a bag, the product itself would have to be something Deadpool himself would buy if he walked into a 7-eleven. It would have to be weirdsly awesome and a little rated-R. They smiled and the rest was history.

	To redefine the word “kingdom” we featured a series of grandparents surrounded by their loved ones. In each story the hero realizes nothing matters more than this moment and the people in it. Because
while the decision to buy insurance is made with the mind, which insurance

choose can
be swayed through
the
heart.

What I ︎ about this.These stories are based on my own life and the love I have for my family and children. My oldest daughter really did sing happy birthday to her baby sister on the day she was born. The piano in our living room represents generations of appreication for singing and playing music together, and we’ve all been caught in the rain faced with the decision to get angry or start dancing and let the rain consume you in the best of ways.&#38;nbsp;

	To help Summit Brewing launch their new Twins Pilsner we simply inserted our beer into the game.
	Beer and baseball, baseball and beer. Inspired by the idea that these two Minnesota greats belong together we set out to show just how interconnected they are. From the sounds of the game to insider lingo we created a launch campaign that spoke to lovers of every sip and swing.&#38;nbsp;

What I ︎ about this.Baseball and beer, duh. Seriously though mixing passionsions with work is special. I love that the team behind this work turned every challenge into an opportunity and created something that fans of Minnesota can be proud of.&#38;nbsp;
